Great as a pack mule and for some light offroading, owned since 2020, Pickerl until May 2026MY2008 but first registered in 09, has ASC + ABS, heated gripsSelling as i've bought a new bike and don't have the space for two. I also don't have the time for an older bike with a baby at home.Luggage:BMW Vario Side cases (keyed to the bike)Givi top case (separate key) - Incl back pad and cargo rackGivi Tanklock BagExtras:TomTom navi system (Model: 4GD00) + charge mount- not really visible in photos as i prefer using a phone. It's an older model so requires updating the maps from time to time.USB ports for charging other equipmentAccessory side lights  (uses H3 bulbs) - turned off/on by double flashing the high-beamsHaynes Workshop Manual (in English)A few spare parts hanging around the garageI'll have to double check but i think it has the OEM tools under the seat still, along with a puncture repair kit.I think it also contains the little accessory plugs for heated vests etc, but i've never used themGeneral Maintenance/Issues:New brake discs installed last year due to general wearTyres (Conti TrailAttack3) have been on for a couple of years but have plenty of life left in them. Meant for road use and gravel roads, been really happy with them but would recommend knobbies if taking it onto dirt/mudLithium Battery: more power, reliable, and lighter, what's not to likeHeated Grips: right side grip doesn't always switch on - not really needed it enough to take a deeper look into it but possibly needs replacingPillion Footpeg: Left side footpeg has been repaired and was loose so i 3d printed the little part that keeps it locked in the up position when not needed - upside is it's easily replaceable if it ever breaks, downside is it's bright orange. If needed i can provide the file or print a few spares in less offensive coloursCouple of scratches and a scuff on the left cylinder head from a slow drop last year - visible in photos. Looks ugly but caused no problems as these engines are actually built properly. Would definitely recommend getting crash bars if you intend doing much offroading thoughClutch slave cylinder: This may be a service item over the next couple of years, I've not had issues with it but they apparently have an expected 15-20 year service life - seems to be about a 200eur part from BMW, so not awful but a bit annoying.Fuel strip is non-functional, just use the trip meter - both the previous owner and myself have tried to fix this. BMW installed these in a lot of bikes between 2005-2012 and they've caused issues since day one. On the original strip, it measures fuel level based on resistance/voltage level in a metallic strip - the constant heat-cycling of the strip, plus the addition of fresh cold fuel eventually causes this strip to crack and the part to fail. I tried the 'fire lighter' fix and eventually bought an aftermarket system (FuelSensorTech) that i'd seen success with online and uses a different method, but it's never really work...
