To completely replace the transmission is between 1500 and 2500 Euro, as I have been told by my mechanic. I have taken this amount off of my asking price.This bike began life as a military bike and was kept in absolute top condition.Was bought by a collector in Salzburg who renovated it to A1 top, meticulously kept and rarely rode it.I am now the third owner and have used it very rarely and only in Vienna. It had 69000 km when I bought it. Now has just under 72500 km.Over the years, I have purchased many manuals for this bike and am offering them for sale also.
